The Volvo XC60 is a very comfortable premium compact SUV due to its large number of standard and available comfort and convenience features.
The automatic climate control
The Volvo XC60 comes standard with a dual-zone automatic climate control system that allows the driver and the front passenger to set their own preferred temperature, which will be maintained all year round by the automatic function of the system. In order to provide this same level of comfort and control to the rear seat passengers, this system can be upgraded to feature four customizable zones that allow the two outboard rear passengers to choose their temperature too. This upgraded system also includes the new air purification system that rids the inside air from pollen, pollution, and viruses.
The adaptive suspension
The Volvo XC60 is available with the Active Chassis with adaptive air suspension, which allows the vehicle to monitor the road and adjust its damping setting in order to provide the best blend of comfort and control over any type of road surface. This suspension also features a self-leveling feature that keeps the rear of the XC60 level even when towing or hauling heavy items. These heavy items can also be loaded more easily due to the controls in the cargo compartment that can lower the rear suspension by a couple of inches.
Driver assistance package
In addition to keeping the passengers safe, the driver assistance features offered on the Volvo XC60 make driving easier and more relaxing by taking care of the acceleration and braking of the vehicle, as well as its steering in some circumstances such as on highway drives or when stuck in traffic. The other active safety features also make for a more comfortable time behind the wheel by providing the peace of mind that results from knowing that the vehicle is keeping an eye out to prevent collisions and other incidents.
