Every Black Edition model features high-gloss black exterior accents, including badges, grille surrounds, mirror caps, and lower trim. The wheels are unique to this trim—ranging from 20 to 21 inches depending on the model—and finished in either diamond-cut or full gloss black.
Inside, the interiors vary by model but all follow the same theme. Premium materials like Nappa leather (on the XC60) or Charcoal Connect Suede Textile and Microtech upholstery (on the XC40, EX40, and EC40) create a refined, all-black cabin. Metal mesh accents and subtle branding add texture without breaking the visual flow.
Which Models Get Black Edition?
Black Edition is available on five 2026 Volvo models:
XC60 (Plug-in Hybrid and Mild Hybrid)
The XC60 Black Edition pairs its monochromatic exterior with ventilated Nappa leather seats, sport seat options, and 21- to 22-inch wheels. This is Volvo's best-selling model, and Black Edition adds a level of visual drama that sets it apart from standard trims.
